GOODBYE MY DEAR AUNTIE

My dear auntie was passed away yesterday because of a motorcycle accident in Purwokerto. She left her husband (my uncle) with her four children stranded in sadness that only they could feel.
My mom always said that my auntie was the one who always care for her no matter what. Every time she came to Jakarta, she always tried to stopped by at my house even though she was in the middle of hurry and busy moments, just to dropped some gift such as fruits, traditional food, etc.
She was the one who remembered that I had no time to do the beauty treatment before my wedding day, like lulur, massage, and ratus. And she came to do it to me by herself since she was really good in that.

Just before Idul Adha, we’ve celebrate my cousin’s wedding (not her child) with laugh and joy and dance and lots of jokes. She danced till she broke her shoe, laughed at my jokes till she cried, and chatted with me with any loud and whisper tone.

She told me about her twin daughters who went to pesantren and how she proud about it, because they’re just a little kids but they already knew what they want and she was happy that her daughters choose the good place to do their study. She also told me that she really enjoyed her business in beauty treatment and wedding organizer that ran so well and prepared herself to take a dermatologist course with a doctor she knew.
She was one of the very positive person that I knew. But the most important thing to me is she was one of the best auntie in the world.
After spending times with her family in my house and left in the afternoon, the next day from the passenger terminal, she called and sent her regards to my mom, “bilangin mama ya, tante nggak sempet mampir lagi ke rumah, tolong salam aja, pamitin tante mau pulang.”
Ten days later, she really gone.

Like we all know, God likes to take good people among us to be with Him. Tante Kholifah, you were really a good person. I wish you are happy and enjoy your new life up there and you know that you will always stay in our hearts for good. Have a happy journey, my aunt..
